1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PadelApp (padelapp.me), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including players, club managers, and organizers.
2. Platform Description
PadelApp is a digital platform for managing padel tournaments and training sessions. The platform provides:
- Tournament registration, bracket management, and result tracking
- Training session scheduling and participation
- Player rating and leaderboard system
- Club and organizer management tools
The platform is operated by MoodPadel.lv. Access is provided free of charge to players. Fees for organizer or club manager features, if any, will be communicated separately.
3. User Accounts
To use the platform you must sign in via Google or Facebook OAuth. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring your profile information is accurate and up to date
You may not create accounts on behalf of other people without their consent. Each person must have their own account.
4. Tournament Participation
When registering for a tournament:
- You confirm you meet the skill level and format requirements set by the organizer
- You commit to participating once registered. Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions
- Tournament spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If a tournament is full, you may join the waiting list
- Organizers reserve the right to remove participants who do not comply with tournament rules
- Rating points are awarded automatically by the platform based on results entered by the organizer
5. Rating System
The rating system on PadelApp is managed by the platform and organizers. Points are awarded based on participation and results:
- Participation points are awarded to all players who take part
- Bonus points are awarded to winners and podium finishers
- Points scale according to your skill level (D, C, B, A)
- Ratings are non-transferable between accounts
We reserve the right to correct rating errors or remove fraudulently obtained points.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Create fake accounts or impersonate other players
- Manipulate tournament results or ratings
- Use the platform for any illegal activity
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or organizers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or platform systems
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban without notice.
7. Organizer Responsibilities
Users with organizer or club manager roles agree to:
- Provide accurate tournament and training information
- Enter match results honestly and in a timely manner
- Not abuse their access to player data
- Comply with GDPR requirements when handling participant information
8. Limitation of Liability
PadelApp and MoodPadel.lv are not responsible for:
- Physical injuries occurring during tournaments or trainings
- Tournament cancellations by organizers or clubs
- Loss of data due to force majeure or unforeseen technical failures
- Actions of third-party sign-in providers (Google, Facebook)
The platform is provided “as is” without warranty of uninterrupted availability.
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us through the platform. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your public-facing data (name, rating) will be removed from the leaderboard.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Latvia.
