1. Who We Are

PadelApp (accessible at padelapp.me) is a platform for managing padel tournaments, training sessions, and player ratings. The platform is operated by MoodPadel.lv, based in Latvia.

2. What Data We Collect

When you register or sign in, we collect:

  • Full name and email address (from Google or Facebook OAuth)
  • Profile photo URL (provided by your sign-in provider)
  • Tournament participation history and match results
  • Rating points and skill level
  • Training session attendance

We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or physical addresses.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Manage your registration and participation in tournaments and trainings
  • Calculate and display your rating on the leaderboard
  • Allow organizers and club managers to see participant lists
  • Send you notifications about upcoming events (only within the platform)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in EU data centers. Firebase complies with GDPR requirements. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth using OAuth 2.0 — we never store your passwords.

5. Public Visibility

Your name and rating points are visible to other users on the Leaderboard. Your tournament participation is visible to other registered participants and organizers. You can request removal of your data at any time.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing of your personal data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the platform. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Firebase Auth session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced within the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
